Chrystal Weichert
SDC Life Coach

I was born and raised in Rhode Island and have lived in Southwest Florida now for over 25 years.  I’m married with 3 sons, one of whom struggles with epilepsy and another autism spectrum disorder.  I’m a long-time advocate for my sons in researching and accessing resources to meet their needs.

I’ve wrestled with depression and anxiety since the age of 5, stemming from childhood trauma, and hid it from family and friends for decades.  Finally, in my thirties, I sought professional help, which I continue to utilize today.  It’s really helped me to come to terms with my trauma and cope effectively with my anxiety and PTSD.  I’ve been fortunate enough to return to school and complete a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health at FGCU.  I also became certified as a Recovery Peer Specialist.

I’ve always believed my purpose in life is to be of service in helping others, that challenges build strength, and that with a helping hand I can achieve my goals.

At one point in my life I was a practicing licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master.  I spend time crocheting and scrapbooking when I can, but most of all enjoy spending time with my family.

Currently my hours of availability are Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.
