The Florida SDC program supports adults living with serious mental illnesses who either receive or are actively applying to receive Social Security Disability benefits, are legally capable of making their own choices, have a household income below the national poverty guidelines, and do not have private medical insurance. We serve people living in Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Hendry and Glades counties. Many people in the SDC program have become strong advocates for their own health and wellness and have succeeded in becoming productive members of the community.
